Gwynedd Council are consulting to assess the childcare needs in the Pentreuchaf area. In order to assess the current need and see if this is being met we are conducting an online questionnaire from 1st December-15th December.
We would encourage all families and members of the local community to complete the questionnaire, and submit any comments, that will assist Gwynedd Council with this assessment. Childcare Needs Consultation

We will be celebrating World Book Day this week on Thursday the 6th of March. The children have asked to wear their night clothes to come to school that day - pyjamas, onesie, oodie etc and bring their favourite bedtime reading book with them.
They are welcome to bring slippers and their favourite teddy bear with them in a bag too. They will also be having a hot chocolate during the day if they wish.
World Book Day Letter (PDF)
A chance for you to bring your bike or scooter to school to clean it and show some love after the long Winter months. There will be an opportunity to ride them around the track during the day also.
The Active Journeys Team have organised an opportunity for the children to bring their bike or scooter to school on Valentine's Day as part of the Sustrans Active Journeys Programme 2024-25.

The school's Active Journeys Team has organised a 'Be Bright, Be Visible Day' on Thursday, December 5th in order to raise awareness of the importance of dressing brightly and using lights when walking, scootering or cycling, especially during the months of Autumn and Winter. All children are welcome to wear colourful or bright clothing as well as lights and reflective items if they wish!
