Gwynedd Council are consulting to assess the childcare needs in the Pentreuchaf area. In order to assess the current need and see if this is being met we are conducting an online questionnaire from 1st December-15th December.
We would encourage all families and members of the local community to complete the questionnaire, and submit any comments, that will assist Gwynedd Council with this assessment. Childcare Needs Consultation
We are desperately in need of more parents to join our small group of Friends to be able to continue to offer rich experiences to our children.
If your are interested in helping us and in joining the small group of parents who are not left, please contact the school as soon as possible

The Eco Council will be selling the Christmas jumpers and costumes for £1 on the school yard this Thursday afternoon at 3:10pm and Friday morning at 8:45am. Everyone welcome! All proceeds towards equipment for the school garden. Thank you very much to everyone for all the kind donations!

The Eco Council are looking for any unwanted Christmas jumpers or costumes so that they are able to be re-used and recycled. Please send any items that are still in good condition, clean and suitable to be used again, to school with your child. We would be extremely grateful for any donations!

Well-done to the Eco Council and the Reception & Year 1 class for receiving high commendation from the Edina Trust and Amgueddfa Cymru for taking part in the Spring Bulbs Project this year!
The School Council would like to thank Jewsons, Pwllheli and Wynnstay, Rhosfawr for the extremely kind donations of free wood and materials for creating a mud kitchen and teepee for the school! Huge thank you also to Iolo Tŷ Capel for building both for us! The children and staff are extremely grateful for all your generosity!

The children are welcome to wear night clothes to come to school and bring their favourite bedtime story with them.

We will be celebrating World Book Day this week on Thursday the 6th of March. The children have asked to wear their night clothes to come to school that day - pyjamas, onesie, oodie etc and bring their favourite bedtime reading book with them.
They are welcome to bring slippers and their favourite teddy bear with them in a bag too. They will also be having a hot chocolate during the day if they wish.
World Book Day Letter (PDF)
A chance for you to bring your bike or scooter to school to clean it and show some love after the long Winter months. There will be an opportunity to ride them around the track during the day also.
The Active Journeys Team have organised an opportunity for the children to bring their bike or scooter to school on Valentine's Day as part of the Sustrans Active Journeys Programme 2024-25.

The school's Active Journeys Team has organised a 'Be Bright, Be Visible Day' on Thursday, December 5th in order to raise awareness of the importance of dressing brightly and using lights when walking, scootering or cycling, especially during the months of Autumn and Winter. All children are welcome to wear colourful or bright clothing as well as lights and reflective items if they wish!
